The Kandiyohi County Food Shelf has been helping Kandiyohi County residents since 1982.  

Most households live paycheck to paycheck and just one bad event such as getting laid off, a health issue or a death in the family and they are seeking our help. 

Mission Statement
Our mission is to help relieve the suffering from hunger by providing food assistance.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8am-3:45pm and Friday's 8am-2pm

We are closed the following Holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and we close at noon on New Years Eve.  If any of these Holiday's fall on a Sunday, we will observe them on Monday. 

**We follow the Willmar Public School closure and early/late starts due to bad weather.**

Pay it Forward at Foxhold Brewery in Willmar
Thursday March 10 4pm-9pm.  Every pint of beer sold, $1 is donated to the Food Shelf, Thanks to Foxhole

Our front door is locked but...
You do have the option to come inside and shop - 1 person in building OR curbside-see hours below.

When you get to the Food Shelf, pull up to our small stop sign by our front door and give us a call to register.  If no one is inside shopping, you will have the option to come in and shop-see hours below. Please bring boxes or bags with you and a mask is required.

**Curbside Pickup Available 8am-3:45pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and 8am-2pm on Friday's.**
**In Person available 10am-3pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 10am-1pm Friday's**

**You can assign a proxy to come pick up your food if you are unable to come to the Food Shelf, just give us a call 235-2641 and let us know who you would like put on your account as a proxy.**

If you need food, please pull up to our front door where there is a sign with our telephone number on it. 
You need to call us once you are at our front door.  We will direct you from there.

*The only items we ask for are your name, what town you live in and how many kids, adults and seniors live in your home.*
